The Five-Star Quality Rating System on the Nursing Home Compare site was designed to help consumers, their families, and caregivers compare nursing homes more easily, especially in the quality of care delivery. During this session learn about how the Five-Star Quality Rating System is used by providers. You will be able to explain to others how the rating system works and how to better explain your facilities’ quality rating.

Closing Session: Igniting Your Passion

Don’t go home with the feeling, “How do I get it all done.” The closing session will bring together the topics and ideas from the sessions and help you put a plan together to put them into practice. We’ll take time to remember that when the challenges are many, focus on the ways to ignite the passion for why you started working in the long-term care continuum.
