What you don’t know about F tag violations
A recent study by The Alliance for Quality Nursing Home Care, “Insights & Progress: A 2013 Quality Report on Skilled Nursing Facility Care” shows the average number of F tags given in 2003 as 5.9, peaking in 2007-2008 at 7, and then going down slightly to 6.1 in 2011.
It’s vital for facilities to have accurate and complete assessments to ensure that the plan of care is implemented consistently and based on information from the assessments to maintain quality care delivery.
