Enhancing Clinical Competence in Assisted Living: Early Identification and Effective Communication of Health Changes

About the Session: The complexity of disease processes among those residing in assisted living facilities has increased, presenting new challenges for the staff. The goal is to consistently deliver high-quality care while identifying and communicating changes in the tenants’ health status. Please plan to attend and gain insights into strategies that enhance care providers’ understanding and early identification of health conditions.
Session Objectives
- Recognize early signs and symptoms of health changes in assisted living residents to ensure timely intervention.
- Describe a successful educational program for ULP that focuses on recognizing and responding to changes in condition.
- Learn about three evidence-based strategies to enhance clinical competence for ULP’s
